Summary: Room was really tired looking, and room was really hot all the time and lowering the thermostat didn’t work. Pool was nice.

Summary: St. Moritz is not your typical hotel. It offers multiple sleeping options. This trip, I had a room with a private bathroom. There are options with shared single sex bathrooms as well (I have done that previously). My room was great, just off the pool. Very clean, comfortable bed and nice linens. Housekeeping was excellent. The grounds crew did a great job managing the snowfall. Very nice continental breakfast. Good quality food. Nothing elaborate, but it offers what you need for a good start to your day. Very European. Coffee and tea available anytime. The staff is top notch. They were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the Aspen area. (Special shoutout to Tom). Genuinely interested in your wellbeing and making sure you are having an enjoyable time. Common spaces (lounge with fireplace and piano, eating area, and outdoor pool and wonderful steam room) were great. These spaces facilitate, in a wonderful way, meeting many of the guests. This is a rare find in today’s abundance of dime a dozen bargain hotels and the $1000+ resorts. This was my second visit. I look forward to my return. Many of the guests I spoke with visit year after year. I think that says something.

Summary: This is probably the best value stay in Aspen town. The location is very close to all the ski buses (5min walk) and you are about 5 blocks from downtown where all the restaurants are. There is free parking and the breakfast is included (fresh bagels and fruit every morning). We had a well equipped kitchenette in the room with a nice bathroom and radiant heat. The hot tub and steam room are a bonus after skiing.

Summary: If you’re looking for an inexpensive option in the village of Aspen, this is the best of the best. The employees are lovely, the morning breakfast has b&b vibes, the pool is always steaming and hot and it’s walkable to Ajax mountain and everything in town. Highly recommend
